🧠 Major Milestone in iNPH Research: PENS Trial Published in NEJM
The Brain Signs Lab is excited to announce the publication of the PENS Trial in The New England Journal of Medicine, marking an important milestone for idiopathic normal-pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH) research and patient care. This international, randomized, placebo-controlled study demonstrated that shunt surgery leads to meaningful improvements in gait and balance for patients with iNPH.
